Young Actors Workshop (ages 12-17)
Emily Donn’s Young Professional acting class focuses on using scripts from popular movies and plays in order to work on scene study, which is the backbone of acting study. She works on believability of the character and on all the background information of the words in the scene. Feeling the part is essential. She uses acting exercises which free up the emotions and the actor’s movement–things that make the whole process exciting and fun, while also preparing the student for the professional acting world. Emily is a professional actor who is very educated in the field of children’s acting. She enjoys to working with kids to get them ready for film, television or theater acting.
